Is it possible to do aquabike or aquagym after giving birth?
In the months following childbirth, it is entirely possible to register for a aquagym class or aquabike. However, there are 3 conditions:
- Perineal rehabilitation sessions must be completed,
- The doctor or midwife must have given their consent,
- And above all, you have to really want it... Don't force yourself to return to sport if you don't feel ready. In a few weeks, motivation will return without the slightest doubt!
To get back in shape, sports such as aquagym and aquabike are particularly recommended for young mothers. Indeed, these sports that take place in a swimming pool have many benefits:
- These are gentle sports: after a pregnancy and childbirth, it is important not to mistreat your body, but rather to take care of it.
- The activities in the pool are very complete: the exercises allow you to build muscle, tone your body and find the line.
