The call of the sofa or the bed is sometimes stronger than your desire to go running? You are currently feeling a ​lack of motivation to exercise​ and don't know how to fight ? Rest assured, you are far from being alone in this situation and this situation is not irremediable! Here are our best tips for (re)finding the motivation to practice regular physical activity.

Define goals to achieve

The hardest thing about returning to sport after a long period of inactivity is find motivation and keep it! First of all, ask yourself why you want to get back into sport. Are you looking for ​motivation to lose weight​, tone your muscles or simply let off steam? It will then be easier to find the activity that suits you, but above all to ​set goals and track your progress ​during the sessions. Be careful, your goals must necessarily be achievable and adapted to your physical condition, as well as your level! The opposite could discourage you and lead to a further loss of motivation.

To have fun

Practicing at least 30 minutes of physical activity allows you to ​release endorphins​. Often referred to as happiness hormones, these providefeeling of well-being after exercise. While all sporting activities help secrete endorphins, endurance sports are the most effective.

Why wait until the end of training to enjoy yourself? You can also opt for a fun sport which will make you want to put on your sneakers or your jersey to have a good time. This should boost your motivation to play sports!

Do sports in a group

Are you wondering how to stay motivated? Consider ​doing sport in a group ​or signing up for group lessons! There's nothing like playing sports together to motivate each other and push your limits. In particular, you can arrange regular meetings with people around you and/or book your sessions in a room in advance. It is sometimes easier to find motivation when you are committed!

Join a gym

Joining a gym also means joining a club with its regulars, its coaches and its atmosphere. Once you get used to it, you almost won't be able to do without it!

Postponable sessions

Sick? On holiday? Or is a busy week keeping you from your weekly session(s)?

Don't worry about losing your sessions! Sessions can be postponed for up to 3 weeks after the date on which the session is credited.
Each session credited to your account is valid for a total of 4 weeks.

The credit system

The more credits you buy at a time, the lower the individual cost.

The Aqua by credit system

85% sessions cost 12 credits.
The number of credits required per session varies between 10 and 16 credits depending on different criteria:

  • the session type,
  • attendance,
  • the schedule.

With credits, you can take advantage of lower fares on less popular timetables.
