What is the concept of aquazumba?

The difference between aquazumba and aquafitness

- Aquazumba is focused on dance steps and not fitness movements.

What does an aquazumba session look like?
Before the session, prepare your bag!
First of all, to be able to participate in an aquazumba class, you only need your best swimsuit, preferably suitable for sport (and your good mood).
Oh, and, don't forget your bottle of water or your flask either ! You will see that aquazumba is no joke!
An aquazumba session lasts between 45 minutes and 1 hour. Before starting, your coach explains to you how the class will go to put you at ease.
Time to warm up
The course then begins with the warm-up. 5 to 10 minutes of jumping on the spot, of running on the spot, etc. The first music puts you in the mood and you make a few little dance steps.
The choreographies
Once the warm-up is finished, you start with the very first choreas. As for movements, you will for example do knee raises, not chased, scissors, kicking, etc.
For dances, you have a little bit of everything: salsa, hip-hop, mambo, samba, etc. Each music has its own choreography, so you will have time to review all the zumba dances.
Once your coach gives you the start, all you have to do is follow him. Don't worry, choreas are never very complicated. There is approximately 8 to 10 choreographies per session.
THE rhythm increases crescendo to allow you to gradually follow the rhythm. The movements and exercises then become more and more intense !
Once finished, you stretch
Once all the choreographies are completed, the session ends with a little gentle stretching. During stretching you will feel a feeling of well-being and of relaxation.
