Aqua by is revolutionizing aquacycling (also called aquabike or aquabiking) in Paris. How ? By offering different sessions to tone your entire body. Each studio has its own different universe, with coaches who are there to support you in your sessions.
In one sentence, Aqua by is: varying the workouts to make the practice more fun and adapt it to everyone. ! A little extra, in each Aqua by center, sauna and hammam are at your disposal (well-being guaranteed).
Aqua aerobics is a variation of gymnastics. This sport is practiced in a swimming pool, which allows you to feel less fatigue and pain from exertion: no shocks to your body. An aquatic activity that includes different types of exercises. Static or dynamic, they will allow you to work every part of your body.
This is an activity that is mainly practised in municipal swimming pools, at a club, or in a dedicated facility. If you live in Paris, we recommend you give it a try!
Burning calories, toning the body, firming the thighs and actively eliminating cellulite are among the benefits of aquagym. In the water, muscles are intensely worked, almost more effectively than a fitness class. You work your arms, abs, shoulders, etc. In short, almost every muscle group. Your joints will not be traumatised, as the water makes movements gentler.
To achieve results, it is advisable to practice this sport quite regularly: at least twice a week.
At Aqua by we offer different aquabike sessions adapted to everyone's level to stay in shape.
- Aqua performing – For complete muscle toning, you can opt for aqua performing. A slightly longer type of session (55 min) combining aquacycling, aquaboxing and aquagym.
- Aquacross – If you prefer the cross training format, you can go for an aquacross session. Divided into several workshops, you work each muscle throughout these workshops.
- Aqua HIIT – To work on your cardio, aqua HIIT sessions are great. Sessions with active recovery at low intensity, instead of the usual rest periods, before going back to full strength.
- Aqua CAF – To work the legs, abs and glutes, you can turn to the CAF aqua sessions (Thighs – Abs – Buttocks). Sessions that combine aquacycling and specific work using accessories.
- Aquapalming – If you want to change classic aquabike sessions, choose aquapalming training. You use fins and other accessories to increase resistance during movements.

The process is simple, put on your swimming costume and we'll explain everything! First, you'll start with a warm-up, and the coach will, of course, help and guide you. As soon as you're ready, the session can begin. You'll go through a series of movements that will work different muscle groups for about 45 minutes. And if you still have energy, you can even finish with a bit of swimming to relax your muscles.
