Eat well

Our first piece of advice is to ​balance or ​change your diet​, replacing junk food, which is too fatty, too sweet and too salty, as much as possible with a ​healthier and more balanced diet​. Here is an example of a menu for eating healthy throughout the day:

Upon waking up: a squeezed lemon in a bowl of warm water, which you can sweeten with agave syrup or honey, to eliminate toxins from your body.

For breakfast:

  • A large bowl of organic fruit accompanied by dried fruit. Vary according to your desires and the seasons. You can also add dried fruit and/or oilseeds (raisins, almonds, walnuts, etc.);
  • A glass of vegetable milk;
  • A slice of wholemeal bread with a piece of cheese. 10am snack: a fruit of your choice, and a handful of nuts

At lunch: whole grains (whole wheat pasta, bulgur, quinoa, wild rice, etc.) and legumes, which are rich in protein. Prepare yourself a good plate if you have an appetite.

4 p.m. snack: a handful of dried fruit with a smoothie, to last until dinner. For dinner: a light meal, such as a mixed salad or soup, with a slice of wholemeal bread.

At bedtime​ : a detox or soothing herbal tea (verbena, lime blossom, marjoram, lavender, etc.)

Result? Your body gradually regains its balance, promoting a feeling of well-being.

Regular physical activity and a healthy diet are inseparable and complementary. It is even the winning combination for feeling good in your body. Sport not only allows you to strengthen your muscles, work on your cardio and sculpt your figure​, but also to secrete endorphins, aka the hormones of happiness! So why deprive yourself?

Rest and relaxation

For an effective fitness workout, it is important to allow yourself enough time to relax andpreserve your sleep. So, remember to listen to yourself and respect your sleep cycles to allow your body to completely regenerate.

Feeling good about yourself and your head is possible by adopting a few healthy actions:

  • Stretching: When you wake up, during the day or before going to bed, stretching is beneficial for toning your muscles, making your joints more flexible and freeing you from daily tension.
  • Breathing with your belly: for this relaxation exercise, simply inhale deeply through your nose, hold your breath for a few seconds before exhaling slowly through your mouth. Repeat several times.
  • Meditate: after making yourself comfortable, close your eyes and try to free yourself from your negative thoughts to focus on yourself, on your body.

After your ​aquabiking session​, recover gently by allowing yourself a moment of relaxation in the sauna and/or hammam​ of your Aqua by studio. This will allow you to eliminate all toxins and leave the studio more relaxed than ever, with a light mind.
