Why is practicing a water sport ideal for strengthening your back?

If you want gently strengthen your back, the wisest thing is to choose a water activity. Indeed, in water, movements are cushioned. They are therefore much less abrupt.

If you sign up for a swimming pool class, you will be able to strengthen your back without risking making a wrong movement or overexerting your muscles. If you are not a big athlete, but you want to get back into it in order to get back in shape, this is still the most effective solution, but also the safest.

Aquabike, a gentle and complete sport

Are you looking for a physical activity in the pool that allows you to gently strengthen your back? You are spoiled for choice, but our preference is still to aquabike !

In fact, it is a water sport particularly complete: 

  • The exercises will allow you to gently work your back muscles: taking care of your lower back while doing sports is possible thanks to aquabiking.
  • Additionally, this is an ideal course for improve your posture daily. And that is really very important to limit back pain. Throughout the aquabike session, the coach will ask you to alternate postures in order to work different parts of your body.
  • Finally, aquabike is a sport that is suitable for everyone : proof that it is a very gentle sport!

Obviously, others water sports such as aquagym or even swimming are indicated for gently strengthen your back. It's up to you to choose the sporting activity that suits you best!
