Sleeping properly is essential to a healthy and balanced lifestyle, it's no longer a secret, but what can you do when you can't do it despite all your efforts? Several food supplements are available in pharmacies to help you fall asleep, they often contain magnesium, omega 3 and melatonin, however if we are not fans of capsules, how can we get these naturally? Don't panic, we have made a small list of foods that we all have in our kitchen.

 Magnesium:

First of all, dark chocolate: it contains a lot of magnesium and has many benefits. We also find bananas: they contain magnesium, but also potassium and tryptophan, nothing better to help our body relax, unwind and release pressure! But there are many other foods like sardines, almonds, and cashews for example.

Omega 3:

According to several studies, consuming omega 3 is beneficial for our sleep, it allows us to sleep more and wake up less often at night, many foods are rich in omega 3, such as cashew nuts, fish (cod liver and salmon for example), or even rapeseed oil

There melatonin :

It would improve the quality of our sleep, good news there is a large quantity in rice (300 to 1000 mg/g), but also in olive oil (53 to 119 mg/ml).

But be careful, we do not guarantee a night of lead after eating a plate of salmon on a bed of rice with a tablet of Nestlé 70% for dessert!
