Aquabiking: swimming pool VS cabin
There are several ways to practice aquabiking: aquabiking in the pool and aquabiking in a cabin.
But what are the differences between aquabiking in a pool and aquabiking in a bathtub?
Aquabiking in the pool consists of pedaling a bicycle immersed in water while following a series of exercises to music orchestrated by a coach.
Changes in positions, rhythms, alternating cardio-training and endurance... throughout the session, aquabiking in the pool allows you to work on all parts of your body. The practice of aquabiking in the pool thus allows you to reshape the silhouette, but also to improve cardiovascular performance. Blood circulation is activated and the natural “massage” effect, we obtain a destructive action against cellulite.
Aquabiking exercises in the pool strengthen the muscles, the legs become more shapely, the buttocks become firmer.
Unlike aquabiking in a swimming pool, waterbike, or aquabiking in a cabin, is practiced in an individual cabin. Aquabiking in a bathtub is practiced in an individual cabin in which there is a bicycle.
Unlike aquabiking in a pool, you pedal at your own pace.
Changes in position (sitting, dancing, squatting between the handlebars and the pedals, etc.) are in fact impossible with a waterbike. But aquabiking in the cabin also gives you total freedom in your movements and you can listen to your iPod, or even read on your waterbike.
On the other hand, inside the waterbike cabin hydromassage nozzles send jets of water to sensitive parts of the body (hips, thighs and arms).
Like aquabiking in a swimming pool, a 30-minute Waterbike session works all the muscles of the lower limbs as well as part of the bust and hips.
The massaging effect of water is, however, not as effective as during a aquabiking lessons in the pool ! The coaches show you the right positions and help you to surpass yourself by avoiding bad injuries!
