Aquabike, aquacycling or aquabiking are different terms used to designate the same activity, consisting of pedaling a bike immersed in water. You can practice this sport in a specialized center (cabin) or in a municipal swimming pool. But unlike cabin aquabiking, you are in a pool where you participate in group sessions with a coach. Once installed, you will be partially submerged up to your chest.

Aquabike is a sport full of benefits. It helps strengthen almost all your muscles and improve your cardio. Aquabiking burns calories without attacking your metabolism, the movements are gentle and the joints are not traumatized. 

Since you are immersed in a pool, the water exerts pressure, which provides a free massage to your skin, helps fight cellulite and reduces the feeling of heavy legs. This sport promotes blood circulation, thus allowing a draining action when you pedal. This also allows you to avoid aches and pains the next day…

It is an ideal sport for gently toning up, staying in good health and enjoying a moment of well-being!

At Aqua by we offer different aquabike courses adapted to everyone's level.

1. Aqua performing – For complete muscle toning, you can opt for aqua performing. A slightly longer type of session (55 min) combining aquacycling, aquaboxing and aquagym.
2. Aquacross – If you prefer the cross training format, you can take an aquacross course. Divided into several workshops, you work each muscle throughout these workshops.
3. Aqua HIIT – To work on your cardio, aqua HIIT classes are great. Sessions with active recovery at low intensity, instead of the usual rest periods, before going back to full strength.
4. Aqua CAF – To work the legs, abs and glutes, you can turn to the CAF aqua sessions (Thighs – Abs – Buttocks). Classes that combine aquabike and specific work using accessories.
5. Aquapalming – If you want to change classic aquabike classes, choose aquapalming training. You use fins and other accessories to increase resistance during movements.

From the 4th arrondissement of Paris, two Aqua by studios are very close to you: Bastille And Réaumur. They are only about ten minutes from you. However, if you have a little more time, you can also go to Aqua by Charonne.

From Paris 4, to get to Bastille, it will take you 10 minutes. Take metro line 1 towards Château de Vincennes from the Hôtel de Ville stop. After 2 stops, get off at Bastille and walk for a few moments.

To go to Aqua by Réaumur from Paris 4, also allow 10 minutes. Board line 11 towards Mairie des Lilas from Hôtel de Ville. Allow 2 stops and get off at Arts et Métiers. All you have to do is walk a little.

To come to Charonne from Paris 4, it takes you 20 minutes. As to go to Bastille, take line 1 towards Château de Vincennes from Hôtel de Ville. This time, get off at Reuilly-Diderot and walk 10 minutes.
